What is the treatment like to experience?

During your BBL treatment, you will be resting comfortably as we cleanse your skin, apply eye protection, and add a clear gel to the area to be treated with the device. We then make a series of passes over the skin with the handheld device.

As it moves across the skin, flashes of intense light enter the skin. You will experience a sensation of warmth or tingling, or a quick snap against the skin. Most clients find it reasonably easy to experience, and do not need a numbing gel before the treatment.

What is the recovery time?

Broadband Light treatments have little to no downtime. After the treatment is complete, you simply go back to your day as usual. You can apply makeup. The hyperpigmented areas of your skin will darken, with the cells coming to the surface and shedding off in about five to seven days. It is normal to experience reddened skin that feels sunburned for a few hours after treatment. Some clients could see minor swelling around the eyes. You must avoid direct exposure to the sun for several weeks, and if you do venture out, wear a hat, and apply sunscreen liberally.
